|Sept. 12 is Deadline for Youth Lacrosse Clinic|
Sept. 12 is the registration deadline for a lacrosse clinic being offered for youth ages three through six by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
Youth lacrosse provides an opportunity for boys and girls to actively participate in learning the fundamentals of this game. This is a supervised four-week program consisting of one hour and 20-minute sessions designed to teach basic skills and to further participant's knowledge of lacrosse. This clinic will consist of four weeks of instruction, drills, and noncompetitive games. This program is a prerequisite for the Spring Lacrosse league. Play for the fall program begins Sept. 17. This clinic will take place at 2 p.m. at Indian Woods Middle School, 97th and Woodson, Overland Park. The cost is $52 per person for Johnson County Residents or $57 per person for nonresidents.
