|Youth Pee Wee Outdoor Soccer League Signups Being Through July 19|
July 19 is the registration deadline for the Johnson County Park and Recreation District's Pee Wee Outdoor Instructional Soccer League. This program is for boys and girls ages four to six.
Separate boys and girls teams will meet beginning Aug. 26 for six Saturdays for 25 minutes of practice followed by a 25-minute game. Pee Wee League play will take place at Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park, 12500 W. 119th St., Overland Park. Schedules and game times will be mailed to participants one week prior to the start of league play. Search for the keyword "soccer" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
The cost is $54 per person for six 50-minute sessions and includes a jersey and awards. After July 19, spaces will be limited and a $10 late fee will apply.
Registrations for this program will be taken by mail, fax (913) 831-6336, and in-person only. A signup event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., July 8 at Dick's Sporting Goods, 15280 W. 119th St., Olathe. Visit the District's website at www.jcprdsoccer.com where forms will be available for printing in preparation for faxing or mailing.
