|Beginning Archery Program Offered for Ages 8 - 12 Starting July 18|
Youth ages eight to 12 can experience the challenging sport of archery in a coed class designed for beginners being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
Beginning Archery will cover safety, basic fundamentals, techniques, and equipment for this challenging outdoor sport. Participants will have practice time to develop their skills. This program will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 20 at the Ernie Miller Nature Center, 909 North Kansas 7 Highway, Olathe. The cost for two 90-minute sessions is $24 per person for Johnson County residents or $26 per person for nonresidents.
