|New Healthy Pizza Three Ways for Youth Class Offered on June 27|
The many ways to enjoy pizza is the theme of a new program for youth being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District and Whole Foods Market.
The class is called Healthy Pizza Three Ways and is for ages eight through 14. The program will be taught by Natural Food Chef and Whole Foods Market Marketing Director Rebecca Miller. Participants will learn about different types of healthy and easy-to-fix breads, sauces, and toppings and take home some recipes. Search for the keyword "cooking" to find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities Catalog and online listings.
This program will be offered at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, at the Whole Foods Market, 7401 W. 91st Street, Overland Park. The cost for one two-hour session is $20 per person for Johnson County residents or $22 per person for nonresidents. In addition, there is a supply fee of $10, payable to the instructor.
