|Mother/Daughter Nature Hike is May 13|
Daughters can come enjoy a natural break with their mom during a program being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District at the new TimberRidge Adventure Center.
The program is called the Mother/Daughter Nature Hike and is for ages 10 and above. Participants will explore the beauty of the TimberRidge Adventure Center and search for wildflowers, canoe on a peaceful lake, and enjoy a picnic lunch.
The program will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 13. The cost for one two-hour session, including a picnic lunch, is $10 for Johnson County residents or $11 for nonresidents. Preregistration is required.
Timber Ridge is located at 12300 South Homestead Lane, Olathe, accessible via an entrance which is separate from and south of the main entrance to Kill Creek Regional Park.
