|Registrations Now Being Taken For Girls Spring Volleyball League|
March 17 is the deadline for registering for a Girls Spring Volleyball League being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
This program is for girls in grades three through eight and is meant to provide a format in which young ladies can learn the game of volleyball and have fun applying those skills in a game environment. This is a seven-week double-header league and teams will play a total of 14 matches. Search for the keyword "volleyball" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
This league is designed for team registrations, but individuals looking for a team may ask for an individual sign-up form.
League play begins March 29 and will take place at Okun Fieldhouse, located within the Mid-America West Sports Complex, 20200 Johnson Drive, Shawnee. The fee is $400 per team. For more information, visit www.jcprd.com/activities/youth.cfrm or call (913) 422-5599.
