|Roeland Park Aquatic Center to be closed after 3 p.m. on July 1|
The Roeland Park Aquatic Center will close early on a Monday afternoon in early July in order to host a local swim meet, Johnson County Park & Recreation District officials announced.
The facility, which is located at 4843 Rosewood, Roeland Park, will be closed after 3 p.m. on Monday, July 1, for a swim meet hosted by the Stingrays Swim Team. Normal summer hours, which include lap swimming from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 9 p.m., as well as open swim hours from noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, will resume the following day. The Stingrays, which are a summer team based at RPAC, compete within the Johnson County Swim and Dive League.
The RPAC is owned by the City of Roeland Park and is operated by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. For information on the Stingrays or current happenings at the facility, call the aquatics center at (913) 432-1377.
