|New Father's Day Treasure Hunt event is June 15 at Shawnee Mission Park|
Bring dad and the whole family to Shawnee Mission Park and hunt hidden treasure during a new special event being presented by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District on June 15. The registration deadline for this event is June 11.
The event is called Father's Day Treasure Hunt and is for all ages. Participants will meet at the park's Shelter #2 and enjoy lunch before receiving their first clue and setting out on their adventure. Clues will lead to locations, places, or hidden articles within the park here the next clue will be revealed. Successfully solve all your clues and be the first to reach the final destination in order to win the grand prize. Prizes will also be awarded for second and third place families. After the hunt, enjoy s'mores back at Shelter #2.

This event will begin at noon on Saturday, June 15. For adults, the cost for one two-hour event is $10 per person for Johnson County residents or $11 per person. Family rate for up to four people is also offered at $27 for Johnson County residents or $30 for nonresidents.
