|New Exploring Art Program Offered for Youth Starting Jan. 21|
The basics of art and various art materials will be covered during a new class for youth being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
The program is called Exploring Art and is for ages six through nine. Participants will complete projects utilizing drawing, painting, and paper mache. The emphasis will be on expanding creativity and imagination. Participants should wear old clothes. This program will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday beginning Jan. 21 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for four 60-minute sessions is $32 for Johnson County residents or $35 for nonresidents. All materials are included.
