|Cartooning Just For Kids Class Offered Beginning Feb. 1|
Participants' imaginations can run wild as they create cartoon characters of their own during a Cartooning class being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
The class is called Cartooning Just For Kids and is for ages eight to 12. The emphasis is on having fun while learning cartooning techniques. Participants should bring a sketchpad and pencil. Search for the keyword "cartooning" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
This class will be offered at 5 p.m. Wednesday beginning Feb. 1 at the Overland Park Community Center, 6300 W. 87th, Overland Park. The cost for four 60-minute sessions is $40 per child for Johnson County residents or $44 per person for nonresidents.
