Winter Wonderland Program Offered Jan. 3-6 for Ages 3-6

Children ages three to six will creatively celebrate the coming of Winter through a program being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.

The program is called Winter Wonderland and will allow youngsters to create snowmen to make their own indoor winter wonderland. Search for the keyword "creative" to find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities Catalog and online listings.

This program is being offered at three times and locations. All programs will begin at 10 a.m. One class will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at the Overland Park Community Center, 6300 W. 87th St., Overland Park. Another will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park.. The final program will take place on Thursday, Jan. 5 at the Tomahawk Recreation Complex, 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee. The cost for one 60-minute session is $10 per person for Johnson County residents or $11 per person for nonresidents.
