How about a good story? Come celebrate the International Day of Storytelling at the Ernie Miller Nature Center. This event will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. The cost is $2 per person.
Beginning at 10 a.m., participants can hear Animal Stories combining the themes of environmental awareness and ancient myths that will delight, entertain, and involve audiences of all ages. Live animals will be on hand as the stories are being told.
Beginning at 2 p.m. will be Stories From Around the World, highlighting tales from many cultures, including African, Korean, and Native American.
The Ernie Miller Nature Center is located at 909 N. Kansas-7 Highway, Olathe and is owned and operated by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
