|School's Out Painting Party for youth set for March 15|
Kids can start celebrating this year's spring break with an art party during a new program being offered by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
School's Out Painting Party is the name of this program, which is for ages eight through 12. Participants will create a work of art with step-by-step instruction from artist Carol Tinklepaugh. Artists will have a piece to take home in just a few hours. All supplies are included. School's Out Painting Party take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at the Prairie Village Community Center, 7720 Mission Road, Prairie Village. The cost for one two and one-half hour session is $35 per person for Johnson County residents or $39 per person for nonresidents.
