|Breakfast with the Birds offered for 50 Plus at Ernie Miller Nature Center on Feb. 15|
The serene atmosphere of the Ernie Miller Nature Center is the setting for a Breakfast with the Birds being planned for mid-February by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This event will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, at the nature center, 909 N. Kansas 7 Highway, Olathe. After a traditional breakfast with juice and coffee, participants will experience an excellent bird presentation. To find this program in JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under 50 Plus and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “nature.”
The cost for one one-and-one-half-hour event, including breakfast, is $15 per person for Johnson County residents or $17 per person for nonresidents. For more information or to register, call (913) 831-3359. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at (913) 826-3030 for space availability.
