|50 Plus plans Coffee, Cakes, and Coordinators event on Nov. 29 at Matt Ross Community Center|
Celebrate the arrival of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District's January through April My JCPRD Activities catalog and get the scoop on the programs it contains during a special event being offered by the 50 Plus Department in late November.
This event is called Coffee, Cakes, and Coordinators, and will take place on Nov. 29. Sip, munch, and meet other adults interested in hearing about JCPRD's new 50 Plus Programs which will be debuted in the next catalog. The coordinators who plan these programs also want to hear what activities you are most interested in. Please register in advance to reserve your spot. Meet fireside in the hearth room. To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog, browse first under 50 Plus and then under special events. In the catalog, look for the keywords “free event.”
Coffee, Cakes, and Coordinators, previously called the Catalog Release Party, will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St., Overland Park. This one-and-one-half-hour event is free, but please reserve your spot by calling (913) 642-6410.
Printed copies of the My JCPRD Activities catalog are available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches.
While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at (913) 826-3030 for space availability.
