|Live Well Age Well event is Oct. 19 at Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center|
Spend the day enjoying educational sessions and panel discussion on topics relevant to aging well in Johnson County when the Johnson County Park & Recreation District’s 50 Plus Department presents a special event called Live Well Age Well in mid-October.
Previously called Senior Fest, this free event is now in its seventh year, and will take place from noon to 6:30 p.m. at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, located in the former King Louie Building at 8788 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park. Participants can experience what JCPRD has to offer through a variety of program demonstrations. Meet and explore the many businesses and services available to you or your aging loved ones. A variety of screenings, giveaways, and opportunities for door prize drawings will be available all day.
