|BBQ, Bingo, and Boot Scootin’ for 50 Plus is Sept. 15 at Johnson County Fairgrounds|
Join the cities of Edgerton, Gardner, and Spring Hill for a night of fun, food, and friends during a new special event being planned in mid-September by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
The program is called BBQ, Bingo, and Boot Scootin' and will take place on Friday, Sept. 15, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 136 E. Washington St., Gardner. The evening includes six games of bingo with fantastic prizes, a BBQ dinner, and entertainment from a local square dancing group. BBQ, Bingo, and Boot Scootin' begins at 5 p.m. The cost for this two-hour program is $15 per person . The registration deadline for this program is Sept. 8. Register online at www.jcprd.com.
While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend.
