|Join the Easter Bunny’s Extreme Egg Hunt in Shawnee Mission Park on April 8!|
The event is called Easter Bunny’s Extreme Egg Hunt, and will be presented at two different times on Saturday, April 8. This event is for all ages, and the only way to find prize-filled eggs is with a GPS (Global Positioning Systems) unit! The event begins at Shawnee Mission Park's Shelter #4. Each family will receive a GPS unit to use for the event, as well as instructions on how to use the device to find hidden eggs scattered throughout the park. After finding all the eggs, participants will return back to the shelter for lunch and pictures with the Easter Bunny! In case of inclement weather, the reschedule date is Sunday, April 9.
To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under fun for all and then under special events. In the printed catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “geocaching.”
