|Learn about upcoming travel destinations when JCPRD presents a 50 Plus Travel Show on Feb. 14|
Join fellow travelers in search of new destinations to explore and trips to take when the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District presents a Travel Show in early February.
During this free three-hour event, participants will preview upcoming adventures, great destinations, and beautiful vacation spots. Meet tour professionals who will answer questions and explain the advantages of traveling with 50 Plus. Presentations with stunning photos, trip overviews, and interesting facts about future tours will be presented. Take home travel brochures and itineraries to help you choose where to go for your next trip.
This free event will take place beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, 11902 Lowell, Overland Park. To RSVP for this event, go to www.jcprd.com, click on the green “Register for Activities” button and complete a barcode search for 36972, or call (913) 826-3030. This program was originally planned for Tuesday, Feb. 7, but was rescheduled due to schedule conflicts.
While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at (913) 826-3030 for space availability.
