New Visual Journal class for adults begins Jan. 21

Learn a creative way to express and document personal experiences and feelings, all while building a source of artistic inspiration during a new adult class being presented by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District in late January.

This program is called The Visual Journal and is for adults 14 and older. Participants will join a visiting artist as you work together to overcome thought-provoking challenges ultimately leading to a sketchbook expression of you!

This class will take place starting at 9 a.m. Saturdays beginning Jan. 21at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Drive, Roeland Park. The cost for three two-hour sessions is $24 for Johnson County residents or $26 for nonresidents. Call (913) 826-3163 or email for the supply list.

This program is also eligible for credit in the Environmental dimension for the JCPRD U holistic wellness program for participants ages three to 18.
