|Doo Dad Mike on Dec. 28 is next in series of Kid-Friendly Musical Performances at Mill Creek Activity Center|
The next Kid-Friendly Musical Performance being presented by the Johnson County Museum will be Doo Dad Mike on Dec. 28. Because the Johnson County Museum is now closed until May 2017 in preparation for the opening of the new Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center in the former King Louie Building, this program will take place at the Mill Creek Activity Center, 6518 Vista Drive, Shawnee.
These programs are designed for ages two through ten with an adult and will all take place beginning at 10 a.m. The cost for each program, which includes fun, music, and movement, is $3 per participant, and museum members are free.
The final entry in the current season of Kid-Friendly Musical Performances will be Doo-Dad Mike on Dec. 28. A Kansas City performer focused on family entertainment, Doo-Dad Mike brings his high-energy rock concert for one show only! This program will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28. This program will be 45 minutes in length.
Individual walk-in participations are welcome, if space is available, but groups of ten or more must preregister. Space at these performances is limited and tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be obtained by calling (913) 715-2575. A maximum of three children are allowed per adult.
