|All ages invited for new Gingerbread Fun event on Dec. 23 at Roeland Park Community Center|
Take a morning break just two days before Christmas for a new special event which is sure to get the whole family into the holiday spirit being presented by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
Gingerbread Fun is the name of this program, which will take place on the morning on Friday, Dec. 23, at the Roeland Park Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr. Participants will make graham cracker gingerbread houses, sip on hot chocolate, and sing along to holiday favorites! Please bring one bag of candy to help decorate the graham cracker houses.

Gingerbread Fun will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23. The cost for this two-hour event is $5 per child. For more information or to register, call (913) 831-3359. This program is also eligible for credit in the Social dimension for the JCPRD U holistic wellness program for participants ages three to 18.
