|September through December issue of JCPRD Activities Catalog available after July 25|
The next issue of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District’s Activities Catalog will be online at www.jcprd.com on July 22 and in print form the week of July 25. Registration for classes in the catalog begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 25. The free publication covers JCPRD programs and events offered between September and December. This issue will also feature JCPRD’s 2015 Annual Report.
The 72-page publication lists more than 500 programs offered by the district through December, plus fall and early winter special events including, Fall Hayrides, the Flight of the Monarch event, the Olathe Medical Center Women’s Triathlon, Whimsical Woods, Haunted Kansas, the Trick-or-Cache geocaching event, the Mildale Farm Fall Fest, Fall Trout Stockings, Veteran’s Day Celebration, a 50 Plus Travel Show, Breakfast with Santa, Holiday Marketplace, Winter Solstice Celebration, and many more. Program offerings range from arts and crafts to sports to nature activities and include leagues, classes, seminars, workshops, and trips. Included are programs for infants through senior adults.
Activities is mailed out to approximately 20,000 past participants who have taken part in a district program within the last year. Catalogs will also be available at Johnson County Library Branches, community centers, various businesses, and at district locations.
