|New Music Under the Stars Community Concert and Bike Parade planned for July 22 at Roeland Park Community Center|
Pack your lawn chairs and a picnic dinner for a night of music and fun at a community gathering being presented in late July by the presented by the Roeland Park Arts Committee and the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This free new special event is called Music Under the Stars Community Concert and Bike Parade, and is for all ages. Pianists will play on a painted piano in the courtyard of the Roeland Park Community Center. Children can bring their bikes to decorate for a parade along the sidewalk, weather permitting. Pianists interested in playing at the event should call (913) 826-3160 to register and an arts committee member will be in contact. Music Under the Stars Community Concert and Bike Parade will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 22, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park.
