|Dive in Movie and Splash for Cash planned on July 16 at Roeland Park Aquatic Center|
The popular recent animated film "Minions" will be shown as a Dive-In Movie at the Roeland Park Aquatic Center during a mid-July family-friendly event which will also include an opportunity to Splash for Cash.
The movie will be shown at the main pool. Participants are invited to spend some time with the family watching this film from the water. The concession stand will be open late. For the Splash For Cash portion of the event, which will take place prior to the movie, an amount of change will be placed in various areas of the center's main pool and different age groups will have an opportunity to dive in and collect as many coins as they can. Contact between participants is strictly prohibited.
This event will take place beginning at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, at the Roland Park Aquatic Center, located at 4350 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for this event is $3 per person for Johnson County residents or $4 per person for nonresidents. To register by phone, call (913) 831-3359.
