|Next Storybook Club session for ages two through five with a parent is July 7 at RPCC|
The next meeting of a monthly storytime program which allows parents to share special times with their little one is being offered in early July by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This drop in program is called Storybook Club and is for ages two through five with an adult. Each meeting will include a theme for the stories, as well as songs, arts and crafts, toy time, and a morning snack. To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under preschool and then under enrichment and special interests. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “storytime.”
This group meets at 9:30 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park. The next program will take place on July 7, when the theme is "Starlight, Starbright." The final Storybook Club of the spring and summer season is set for Aug. 4, when the theme is "Around Town." The cost for each one-hour program is $3 per child. Preregistration is not required.
Printed copies of JCPRD’s Activities catalog are available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches.
