|Bingo Night Family Fun event planned on May 6|
Plan on celebrating National Screen Free Week with a Bingo Family Fun Night being planned in early May by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This event for all ages and will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4860 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park. During National Screen Free Week, participants are invited to turn off their cell phones and leave their tablets at home in order to fully take part in this family event. Participants will enjoy spending time with the whole family while playing Bingo. Twists and special treats have been added this year to make the game more active and silly. Prizes will include gift cards and gift certificates.
Dinner is included and will take the form of sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, veggies, and a dessert. The meal will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by 12 games of bingo. Each player will receive two bingo cards for each game.
The cost per individual for this two-and-one-half-hour event is $8 for Johnson County residents or $10 for nonresidents or a family rate for up to four people is $27 for Johnson County residents or $30 for nonresidents.

This program is also eligible for credit in the Social dimension for the JCPRD U holistic wellness program for participants ages three to 18.
