|Kansas City Strings and Stroud's are destinations for next social outing for 50 Plus on May 3|
Tour the largest full-service violin, viola, cello, and bass shop in the Midwest and then dine in a favorite local restaurant during an early May social outing being offered by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
K.C. Strings and Stroud's is the name of this outing. Participants will tour K.C. Strings and learn about the making of instruments from start to finish - from the drying of the wood to application of the varnish. Afterwards, the group will enjoy a pan-fried chicken lunch at Stroud's in Fairway. Lunch costs are on your own.
