Janie Next Door on Feb. 24 is next in series of Kid-Friendly Musical Performances at Johnson County Museum
POSTED: 01/28/2016
The next Kid-Friendly Musical Performance at the Johnson County Museum will be a concert by Janie Next Door on Feb. 24.

These programs are designed for ages two through ten with an adult and will all take place beginning at 10 a.m. at the Johnson County Museum, 6305 Lackman Road, Shawnee. The cost for each one-hour program, which includes fun, music, and movement, is $3 per participant, and museum members are free.

Individual walk-in participations are welcome, if space is available, but groups of ten or more must preregister. Space at these performances is limited and tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be obtained by calling (913) 715-2575. A maximum of three children are allowed per adult.

Also known as musician, singer, and songwriter Jane Christison, Janie Next Door performs upbeat, entertaining, and interactive, live musical programs for children.

Other entries in the Kid-Friendly Musical Performances include: Dino O'Dell on March 23 and April 22, and Doo-Dad Mike on April 27.

The Johnson County Museum became part of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District effective Jan. 1.
