|New Dolly & Me Afternoon Tea event is Feb. 17 at RPCC|
Girls ages three to five are invited to put on a party dress, bring their favorite dolly and a grown-up, and join new friends for a special tea party during a new event being offered in mid-February by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This event is called Dolly and Me Afternoon Tea and will take place beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Participants will decorate tea cups, make jewelry for themselves and their dolly, and play with new friends. Mini sandwiches, sweet treats, and tea will be served. This program will take place at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for one 90-minute session is $12 per person for Johnson County residents or $15 per person for nonresidents. For more information or to register, call (913) 831-3359. This program is also eligible for credit in the Social dimension for the JCPRD U holistic wellness program for participants ages three to 18.
