|Rockin' Rob Show on Jan. 27 is first in series of Kid-Friendly Musical Performances at Johnson County Museum|
Fun, music, and movement are in store when the Johnson County Museum presents a series of five Kid-Friendly Musical Performances beginning in late January.
These programs are designed for ages two through ten with an adult and will all take place beginning at 10 a.m. at the Johnson County Museum, 6305 Lackman Road, Shawnee. The cost for each one-hour program is $3 per participant, and museum members are free.
Individual walk-in participations are welcome, if space is available, but groups of ten or more must preregister. Space at these performances is limited and tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be obtained by calling (913) 715-2575. A maximum of three children are allowed per adult.
The first of these performances is The Rockin' Rob Show set for Wednesday, Jan. 27. This completely interactive and educational musical show benefits of music and movement.
Other entries in the Kid-Friendly Musical Performances include: Janie Next Door on Feb. 24; Dino O'Dell on March 23 and April 22, and Doo-Dad Mike on April 27.
The Johnson County Museum becomes part of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District effective Jan. 1, 2016.
