|Crown Center is destination for next 50 Plus Wednesday Walk on Dec. 2|
Kansas City landmark Crown Center is the next destination for the Wednesday Walks program being presented this fall by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
For this walk, participants are invited to stay inside and walk at the indoor downtown shopping and entertainment complex. It will be a chance to get in one more walk for the year and enjoy the holiday atmosphere. This walk will require only an easy level of exertion.
This outing will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2, and will depart at 9 a.m. from Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch, Merriam. The cost for this six-hour outing, including van transportation to the walk site, is $18 per person for Johnson County residents or $20 for nonresidents. Participants should bring a sack lunch for a picnic after the walk in the dining area in Crown Center's lower level.
To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under 50 Plus and then under nature & outdoors.
