|Portion of Heritage Park's Hallet Road to be closed Oct. 20 - 23 for road work|
A portion of the main north-south route through the interior of Heritage Park will be closed for roadwork from Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Friday, Oct. 23, Johnson County Park & Recreation District officials announced.
Planned is a pavement maintenance project along Hallet Road from the intersection with West 60th Street (southwest corner of lake dam) to the parking loop for shelters 9 and 10. The southern portion of the park will still be accessible via the pedestrian trail and also by the southeast park entrance on Pflumm Road.
It is expected the road will be open for use after 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23. This road work is dependant upon favorable weather conditions and could be delayed by rain or other inclement weather.
Heritage Park is owned and operated by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District and is located at 160o0 Pflumm Road, Olathe. Regular park hours are 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily through Oct. 31 and 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Daily after Nov. 1.
