|Rock & Roll Bingo for 50 Plus is Oct. 14 at Rose Estates|
If you're ready for a rocking good time, make plans to attend a special new bingo event being planned in mid-October by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
The program is called Rock & Roll Bingo and will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Rose Estates, 12700 Antioch Road, Overland Park. Participants can travel back to the Fabulous Fifties when Elvis was king, father knew best, and everyone loved Lucy! We’ll be playing all the good oldies on the transistor radio and sip on some root beer floats during this bingo program! To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under 50 plus and then under enrichment & special interests. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “games.”
Rock & Roll Bingo begins at 1:30 p.m. The cost for this two-hour program is $5 per person for Johnson County residents or $6 per person for nonresidents. Please call (913) 826-3160 to register in advance and remember to park in the south parking lot. To register online at www.jcprd.com, click on the green “Register for Activities” button and complete a barcode search for 30168.
While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at (913) 826-3030 for space availability.
Printed copies of JCPRD’s Activities catalog are available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches.
