|All ages invited to Fall Spaghetti Dinner on Oct. 1 at Roeland Park Community Center|
Something good is cooking at the Roeland Park Community Center and the community is invited to come participate in a special meal being planned by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This Spaghetti Dinner is a long-standing tradition of friends, delicious food, conversation, and fun! This fall, we’re spicing things up by adding more "community" to the event. At 5 p.m., take a self-guided tour of all the facilities of the Roeland Park Community Center Campus, including the aquatic center, sports dome, early childhood development center, and fitness room. Local fire and police departments will have a Meet and Greet in the parking lot, and kids can check out their specialized vehicles. At 6:15 p.m., savor a delicious spaghetti dinner and chat with friends new and old. A magic show for all ages will end the evening.
To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under fun for all and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords "community night."
This event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park. The cost for this two-hour event is $8 per person, or $7 per person for 50 plus.
