Elves' Day Off Pool Party for all ages is being planned for Dec. 23 at the dome-covered Roeland Park Aquatic Center, 4843 Rosewood Drive, Roeland Park, by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
Participants will build graham cracker houses beginning at 10 a.m., eat lunch at 11 a.m., and then hit the warm waters of the dome-covered pool. Lunch will be provided, but participants are asked to bring one bag of treats to share as they decorate their gingerbread houses. This program will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23. The cost for one three-hour event, including graham cracker houses and lunch, is $7 for adults and children over three and free for children under three. RSVP for this event by Dec. 16 by calling (913) 826-3160.
