|New Kids Night Out Painting Party planned at Roeland Park Community Center on Dec. 13|
Parents are invited to drop their kids off for a night of fun during a new special event being planned by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District. The idea is that with the kids occupied, parents can enjoy some time to themselves.
This event is called Kids Night Out - Painting Party and is for ages eight to 12. Kids will enjoy dinner, painting their own work of art, and games in a fun and safe environment. The completed paintings will make perfect holiday gifts and all supplies and step-by-step instructions are included.
To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under youth and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “special event.”
This program will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park. The cost for this three-hour event is $16 per child for Johnson County residents or $18 for nonresidents.
