|Grandparents and Grandkids invited to Oct. 25 Halloween Party at New Century Fieldhouse|
All monsters, mummies, and zombies are invited to an intergenerational Halloween Party at the Johnson County Park & Recreation District's New Century Fieldhouse near Gardner in late October.
This new special event is being presented by JCPRD's 50 Plus Department and is for grandparents and their grandchildren; who will be more scared? Participants will traipse through the spookily-enhanced fieldhouse. Activities will include a chance to brave the haunted hallway, and stroll the trunk or treat aisle.
To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under 50 plus and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “holiday event.”
The party begins at 5 p.m. The cost for one three-hour event is $6 per person. Be sure to register for this event by Oct. 20.
The JCPRD’s Activities catalog, with information and a registration form, is available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches. For more information, call (913) 826-2859 or (913) 831-3359. To register online and for updated program listings, visit the District’s website at www.jcprd.com.
