Learn the secrets of "Optimal Aging" from Dr. Kevin O'Neil and enjoy a morning of fun during a free new special event being planned by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District in late September.
The event is called Optimal Aging 2014 and is being presented by Brookdale Senior Living Solutions, the Jewish Community Center, and JCPRD. Participants can enjoy breakfast, as well as well as a variety of fun and informational booths regarding aging, preventative health, senior services, and more.
To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities, look first under 50 plus and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword "health."
This event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Jewish Community Center, 5801 W. 115th St., Overland Park. The event is free, but those planning to participate are asked to RSVP by Sept. 26 by calling (913) 327-8046 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
