|Patriot Golf Days are Aug. 31-Sept. 3 at Heritage Park and Tomahawk Hills|
This will be the fifth year the courses join in the nationwide observations of Patriot Golf Days. All proceeds will go to The Folds of Honor Foundation, which awards scholarships to the children of military members who have been seriously disabled or have given their lives in combat in Afghanistan or Iraq. This event began in 2007 and was hugely successful, raising more than $1.1 million from 3,200 golf facilities nationwide. More than $2,000 has been collected during previous events at the local courses alone.
