|First Kicks Soccer program offered for ages 2-5 starting Aug. 17|
The program is called First Kicks and is coached by qualified professional soccer coaches. First Kicks Soccer is designed to introduce young children to the concepts of fun and interaction within a relaxed physical environment. The program involves small groups and lots of kicking, laughing, and making new friends. Parents and guardians are invited to stay and watch or even join in! To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under preschool and then under sports. In the printed catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “soccer clinic.”
This program will take place beginning Aug. 17 at the New Century Fieldhouse, 511 new Century Parkway, near Gardner. Sessions are offered at 9 a.m for ages two and three and at 10 a.m. for ages four through five. The cost for four 45-minute sessions is $80 per person. Registration includes a soccer ball, jersey, and shorts.
