|Youth "R" Sports Ready program begins Aug. 21|
The program is called Youth "R" Sports Ready and is for ages six through 11. This program will focus on specific drills that improve conditioning, strength, and coordination and give participants skills necessary to participate in sports-related activities. Young athletes will have fun while improving their speed and agility. The program also promotes sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle. To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first by age-based under youth and then under fitness and health. In the printed catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “fitness.”
Youth "R" Sports Ready is offered at two different times, both of which take place at the Mill Creek Activity Center. The program is offered at 5:30 p.m., and 6:30, both on Tuesday and Thursday, beginning Aug. 21. The cost for eight 50-minute sessions is $50 for Johnson County residents or $55 for nonresidents.
