Next JCPRD Activities catalog available after July 30, to list programs from September- December

The 84-page publication lists more than 500 programs offered by the District though December, plus fall and early winter special events including , Fall Hayrides, the Big Bad Pumpkin Derby and Big Bad Canine's Costume Contest, Haunted Kansas, Tellebration 2012, the Mildale Farm Fall Fest, Fall Trout Stocking, Breakfast with Santa Programs, a Winter Solstice Celebration, and more. Program offerings range from arts and crafts to sports to nature activities and include leagues, classes, seminars, workshops, and trips. Included are programs for infants through senior adults. Registration for classes in the next catalog will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 30. The majority of programs start on or after Sept. 1.

Activities is mailed out to approximately 25,000 past participants who have taken part in a District program within the last year. Catalogs will also be available at Johnson County Library Branches, community centers, various businesses, and at District locations.

Updated JCPRD program listings and 24-hour online registration are available on the District's website at www.jcprd.com. Look for August through December program listings to be online the week of July 30 as well.

The next issue of Activities, available in late November, will cover programs and events for the months of January through April 2013.
