|Free Triathlon Training Workshop|
Want to know what kind of training is needed to prepare for a triathlon? A free workshop being offered by SportsCare of Shawnee Mission Health System and the Johnson County Park and Recreation District can help.
During this workshop, experienced triathletes, doctors, and staff at SportsCare will teach participants how to train for a triathlon. Topics to be addressed include: nutrition, stretching techniques, and pointers on conditioning for each phase of a triathlon. Both seasoned and novice triathletes will learn from this free informational workshop.
The workshop will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 at the Life Dynamics Building, 9120 W. 75th St.
