Annual JCPRD Special Olympics & Feed the Need Golf Tournament set for Friday, June 22 at Tomahawk Hills Golf Course

This event benefits JCPRD Special Olympics programs as well as the Feed the Need Food Drive. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and play gets under way at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. In addition to greens fees, cart rental, and unlimited range balls, the registration fee includes a buffet lunch, on-course beverages, and door prizes. To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under adult and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “special event.”

Participation in the tournament is by both individuals and corporate teams. Individual players may register for $100 and four-person team registration is $375, a portion of which may be tax-deductible. Corporate sponsorships are also available at the $5,000, $1,000 and $450 levels. Hole sponsorships are also available for $250. The JCPRD's Rangers Special Olympics team provides year-round sports training, education, and athletic competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through their participation, Special Olympians are able to demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympians, and the community.
