|April through August issue of JCPRD Activities catalog available after Feb. 27|
The free publication covers JCPRD programs and events offered between April and August and continues several major changes to the publication, including: a change to three issues per year from four; reorganization into an age-based format, reincorporation of 50 Plus programs which were previously published separately; and the inclusion of articles and features pertaining to JCPRD offerings, facilities, and parks. This issue will also feature a first-ever inserted Camps and Clinics Guide.
The publication lists more than 800 programs offered by the District though August. This issue will also include information about the Heritage Park, Shawnee Mission, and Olathe Medical Center Women's triathlons as well as other popular spring and summer events including Paws in the Park, Ernie Miller Park Amphitheater programs, the Great American Family Campout, Trucks and Big Rigs for Kids, and much more. Program offerings range from arts and crafts to sports to nature activities, and include leagues, classes, seminars, workshops, and trips. Included are programs for toddlers through senior adults. Registration for classes in the next catalog will begin immediately after the catalogs arrive. The majority of programs start on or after April 1.
