|Jazz up your winter with music-themed 50 Plus day trip on Jan. 31|
Participants will start with a visit to KC Strings, the only American makers of professional grade violins, violas, cellos, and basses. Learn how expert craftsmen create quality instruments for string players all over the world. The trip will continue on to the Majestic Restaurant, which was built in 1911 and known for its speakeasy and evening jazz performances. Then feel the music at the American Jazz Museum in the legendary 18th and Vine District. A guided tour and interactive exhibits will bring the spirit of jazz and its notable musicians to life.
