|New Kansas Day Celebration is Jan. 29 at Ernie Miller Nature Center|
The program is called Kansas Day Celebration and will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29. This program is for all ages. From sunflowers to tiger salamanders, participants will get chance to see some of the natural symbols of the state. Have a piece of cake for the state's birthday and be delighted by stories from a pioneer. There will be fun activities for all ages and an opportunity to join in a rousing chorus of "Home of the Range." The cost for this two-hour event is $5 per person, including adults. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the nature center at (913) 764-7759.
