Heritage Park Off-leash Area to be closed for most of day on Nov. 17 for fence installation
POSTED: 11/17/2011
The closure is planned from 7 a.m. to about 2 p.m. in order to install new fencing on the off-Leash area north and west sides. This expense, which was approved by the JCPRD's Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners during it's Oct. 19 meeting, will be paid for in half by the Johnson County Public Works Department as part of a future improvement project to 159th Street. The closures will be posted at the Dog Off-Leash Area entry gate. Trespassing is prohibited when the gate is locked.

Heritage Park is owned and operated by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District and is located at 16050 Pflumm Road, Olathe. Regular winter park hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Feb. 28.
