|Two youth football clinics begin July 14|
The Rookie Football Clinic is for boys and girls ages five through seven and will introduce participants to basic football skills by age group. Participants will play flag football with coaches helping them learn how to catch, pass, and kick the ball. They will develop gross motor skills while having a great deal of fun. This program will take place starting at 6 p.m. on Thursdays beginning July 14.
The Pro-Style Football Clinic is for boys and girls ages eight through 10 and will teach skills that will prepare players for their first, second, or even third season of football. Instruction will be given in the proper techniques of catching, passing, kicking, as well as blocking and tackling. Participants in this clinic will play flag and some tackle football supervised by coaching staff. This program will take place starting at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, also beginning July 14.
The cost for either program for six 60-minute sessions is $100 per person for Johnson County residents or $110 for nonresidents. For more information, visit www.68insidesports.com.
